Gaydar RadioLAGLA was featured on the Gaydar Radio Breakfast Show on 6 February 2008. Upcoming EventOn Wednesday 26 March 2008 at 6 pm LAGLA will be enjoying an evening of Fine-Wine Tasting at Vivat Bacchus at 47 Farringdon Street, London EC4A 4LL. We will be tasting of 8 wines with a focus on fine South Africa from the 5 well-stocked cellars. Places are limited to a maximum of 40 people and the evening costs £20 per head including a selection of cheeses and meats from their in-house Cheese Room & Deli. Following the tasting, you will have the opportunity to buy wine at a 15% discount. To attend, you must book and send us your cheque for £20 (made payable to “Lesbian and Gay Lawyers Association”) to LAGLA, Alternative Family Law, 3 Southwark Street, London SE1 1RQ (no DX), clearly marking your name and full return address on the back of the cheque. In case the event is cancelled or oversubscribed, we will return the cheque to that address. Any cheques not clearly marked with a return address will be treated as donations. Cheques will be treated on the first-come first serve basis. This event is open to non-members, so please feel free to book in your friends and colleagues as guests, who may want to get to know LAGLA. lagla is the Lesbian and Gay Lawyers Association for England and Wales. Although most of our members are in London we have members all over the country. We have regular parties where members can meet other gay and lesbian lawyers and make contact in a social informal atmosphere. We also organise lectures, seminars and conferences.
