Events

This page shows our upcoming events. You will see them in an annual calendar and you can drill down to monthly views by just clicking any month or you can switch to a list view to have a list of all upcoming events.

You can use this section to join an event.

• If the event is an informal and open event, this is not necessary, but it will show others you are going, or after the event that you have been and how to get in touch with you via your profile.
• If the event is an event with limited capacity or with a closing date (e.g. where we need to book a venue or tickets), you must register to be able to attend.
• If the event has a fee charged, you can use the links and Google Checkout to pay your fee and you will then be registered for the event automatically (it may take 10-15 minutes). We do not accept cash or cheques.
• If the event allows you to bring a guest you can register your guest (and pay for them if applicable).

Payment

With Google Checkout you can use credit or debit cards, but not a Maestro Debit card (those with an issue number), which Google Checkout discontinued in the summer of 2009. Maestro cards are apparently being phased out and from what we can gather HSBC and NatWest are changing to Visa Debit and Clydesdale and some others to MasterCard Debit cards. For those who only have a Maestro card and no other credit or debit cards we recommend that you contact your bank and ask for a new card, which should then be a Visa Debit or MasterCard Debit card.

We do NOT accept manual payments, cash or cheques.
